Closure/Continuation. Live. Amsterdam 07/11/22 documents Porcupine Tree’s triumphant return to the stage perfectly. A live recording captured on 7th November 2022 at Amsterdam’s 17,000 capacity Ziggo Dome, it places the listener/viewer right at the heart of the stage for the duration of the show as psychotropic visuals explode behind the band as they play a superlative set of songs that features - to use Steven Wilson’s words - “no hits”, where each one is received like an anthem from an alternate universe. Closure/Continuation Live includes live recordings of much of their 2022 reunion album (including the singles Harridan and Of The New Day) as well as classic tracks like Trains, Fear of a Blank Planet and Anesthetize.

Fukuyama supervised all aspects of the overall direction, video, and sound of the live performance. High-quality footage of the actual live performance was recorded using more than 40 cameras in all 360° angles, and for the first time in Nippon Budokan history, drone shooting was conducted with the audience in the arena. In addition, the best Dolby Atmos® sound technology was utilized to pursue the ideal sound expression with thorough attention to every detail. The film also incorporates a storyline that only a film can tell, and "Masaharu Fukuyama as a boy," played by actor Hinata Hiiragi, is the key to the work. Hiiragi played the boyhood of Hiromi Minami, The film also features beautiful scenic inserts shot in his hometown of Nagasaki and CG effects, and these elements combine to create a film that uses the live performance itself as its source material in pursuit of the ultimate "ideal image of live performance."

Among the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music, 10cc are one of the very few acts to have achieved commercial, critical and creative success in equal measure. In 1974, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley of 10cc invented a nifty little musical device that should have revolutionized the guitar world. The Gizmotron® was an attachable device that had the ability to create “authentic sounds of such stringed instruments as violins, violas and cellos,” and maintain “infinite sustain.” It was a remarkable invention by any standards and should have achieved what it said on the can and made much moolah for its inventors. Sadly, it hasn’t yet. The concerts performed July 15-17 1999 in Salt lake City, Utah marked Alphaville's first ever live performances in North America.
