The story takes place in a small town (called Hakkari) in Turkey at the beginning of the 70's. The time has come to bring technology into that small town. The first Television (or called Visiontele by the citizens) arrives and the chaos begins.

Şaban is a poor man. In Germany, where Şaban went as a worker, tragicomic events happen.

The Foster Brothers

Saban, Ramazan and Bayram are sailors in an Ottoman Navy and Hüsamettin is their commander. Hüsamettin's aide Ramazan, Saban who is foster son of Hüsamettin's sister and Bayram who is married to Hüsamettin's niece stays at Hüsamettin's family residence. Hüsamettin's sister thinks Ramazan is her foster son Saban when she realizes her mistake she introduces Ramazan to her brother as her son in law Bayram since she was afraid of Hüsamettin's short-tempered character. Things get complicated when real Saban and Bayram come to the residence. Now Saban has to be Ramazan and Bayram has to be Saban. Meanwhile, a gulyabani (a ghoul from Turkish folklore) haunts the residence.

The Postman

Sevtap and Adem, the postman in the neighborhood, are in love with each other. Sevtap remained single until the age of 30 because no one liked her, so she is still a virgin and has settled for Adem. However, there is someone who opposes this love, her older brother Latif, who was raised in German culture but can be described as a complete fool. One day, Sevtap and Adem send a telegram from Sevtap's father's mouth to convince him to accept the situation. After this telegram, wedding preparations begin. However, during this time, Latif returns permanently from Germany to Turkey, and the truth about the couple is revealed. Latif opposes the marriage at any cost, even if it means harming Adem. Later, despite his reservations, he accepts the marriage and fulfills Adem's every request.

Oh Where

Three boys are having their higher education in Istanbul (!). In fact, they are messing around and dealing with radical politics, girls and gamble. However the oldest discovers love, and the three realize it is time for change.

Dokunmayın Şabanıma

Şaban is a minibus driver who is unsuccessful with women, while Ökkeş is a complete womanizer. Ökkeş and Şaban, two old army buddies, cross paths one day in prison. Ökkeş, who is being forced by his father to marry, asks Şaban to take his place, and they switch roles. However, when both of them fall in love with the daughter of the house they go to, things get complicated. The girl they are in love with has switched places with the housekeeper...

Zülfü and Zülfiye get married. However, Abbas, Zülfü's uncle, who is trying to take over Zülfü's property, tries to separate the couple. Abbas spreads rumors about Zülfiye.
