The Emigrant

The biblical tale of Joseph is told from an Egyptian perspective in this interesting character study. In this film, Joseph is called Ram. His brothers travel with him across Sinai, but then suddenly sell him to Ozir, an Egyptian who works for a Theban military leader, Amihar. Amihar is impressed by Ram's drive and personal charm and so grants Ram some desolate land outside the capital. Ram soon finds himself a pawn in the political and sexual games between Amihar and his wife Simihit, a high priestess of the Cult of Amun.

Upon his return to Alexandria, Khaled becomes intrigued with a graffiti mural opposite his apartment. As he pursues this further, a larger underground arts scene slowly reveals itself, composed of musicians, filmmakers, and graffiti artists. As they struggle to get their voices heard, Khaled is compelled to help them acquire some much deserved visibility.

The revolution starts and the Free Officers are now in charge, putting Ali against his brother as a guard for the king and also against his lover, the prince's daughter as the revolution will confiscate all her family's wealth.

El-Halal Yksab

After Dr. Fouad performs an operation on Shams and saves her life, she becomes attached to him and asks him to marry her. The Sinners

Actress Sanaa Kamel is found murdered on her bed, and an investigation starts, taking into account everyone of the guests she hosted at her apartment the night she was killed: her jealous fiancé, a school instructor, a corrupt market manager, one of Sanaa's friends who works as a contractor, and a stud who was Sanaa's secret lover. As the investigation progresses, all the conclusions about the characters are always under question.

After being flown to England for evaluation, it's determined that Yehia must undergo emergency surgery. Fact and fiction blend seamlessly—with healthy doses of cleverly absurdist fantasy—as the film explores the various personalities and forces that have made Yehia (and Youssef Chahine) the man he has become.

Nagham Fi Hayaty

(Hanan) is an attractive and beautiful young girl. She works as a secretary for the singer (Mamdouh). She is attached to Mohsen’s heart and emotionally attached to him. As a result of that connection, she falls victim when she surrenders herself to Mohsen. The result of that connection becomes a pregnancy, and here the situation becomes more serious. Mohsen has to leave Beirut for Brazil. To search for a job opportunity, he must leave the country immediately.

Love & Pride

After getting dumped by Adel, Zizi marries Hussein just to keep her pride. They agree to get divorced after a while, until she finds out that Hussein is helping her father in his financial crisis without mentioning anything.
