At the Katnip Kollege, we see a roomful of cats taking a course in Swingology. Everyone swings except Johnny, who can't cut it and has to sit in the dunce chair. Miss Kitty Bright tells him to look her up when he learns how to swing. Finally, listening to the pendulum clock at night, Johnny gets the beat. He rushes out to where everyone is playing and sings "Easy As Rollin' Off a Log" to Kitty Bright. She joins in; he grabs a trumpet for an instrumental break, with the complete band. They both fall off a log; she covers him with kisses.

The musical group "Flor de Lis y los Dos del Orinoco" tours the fairs of the towns with their repertoire of old melodies. They arrive in Torremolinos and settle in a camping site. There they meet Johny, a cheeky "go-go boy" who lives off the land and, if possible, from foreigners. He joins them and turns them into a beat band. They dress like hippies and sing in English. Their new stage name is "Los Hippy-Loyas", and they present themselves to the public as a pop group from Liverpool. Their new life leads them to the most unusual adventures.

For centuries, the Rhine separated the Germans from France, but for almost 70 years it has connected these two countries. But Luxembourg, Belgium and Italy are also within its sphere of influence. Film follows the course of the river exclusively from a bird's eye view and presents a fascinating panorama from the center of Europe that develops its full power on the big screen. From above, our homeland is no longer the same: the glittering floodplains of the Rhine are reminiscent of the Caribbean, the meadows in the alluvial plains look like the Serengeti.

Older songs like ‘Oh Happy Day,’ ‘Rise And Shine,’ ‘All God’s Children,’ and ‘Swing Down, Sweet Chariot’ meet Joni Mitchell’s ‘Woodstock,’ Joan Baez’s ‘Sweet Sir Galahad,’ ‘Bob Dylan’s ‘I Shall Be Released,’ CSNY’s ‘Down By The River,’ and many more of the now-classic songs of what was then called the ‘new rock.’ The scene is notably intimate and - aside from one fan’s dustup with Stephen Stills - mellow, with many rare, close-up moments with the stars.
