Travelling Hawkers in Frankfurt am Main

A documentary about unemployed people who bought fruit and vegetables at moderate prices at the wholesale market and sold these in the streets of Frankfurt. Since they had no permits they were constantly with their bulky carts on the run from the police. One part of the film was shot at the fairgrounds in front of the wholesale market. Newspaper and lottery ticket vendors, propagandists offering their ware for a few pfennigs, all convey the mood of a time when need made people inventive.

Durante un’operazione di disciplina del traffico, il sergente maggiore Cruchot conosce la signora Josephine Lefrançois vedova di un colonnello. Innamoratosi della donna, Cruchot, spinto da Josephine a migliorare la propria posizione, decide di sostenere gli esami per la promozione a maresciallo maggiore, in concorrenza con il suo diretto superiore Gerber. Per un errore del cervello elettronico, incaricato di valutare le prove dei candidati, Cruchot viene promosso e si diverte ad umiliare Gerber; le parti si rovesciano, però, allorché, chiarito lo sbaglio, Gerber viene promosso al posto di Cruchot. Frattanto un pericoloso criminale, fuggito di prigione, avendo un conto personale da regolare con Cruchot, gli tende una trappola, costringendo Josephine a invitarlo in casa sua. Per un equivoco però il piano fallisce ed è lo stesso Cruchot a catturare l'evaso, guadagnandosi così, per meriti speciali, la sospirata promozione e riuscendo nel mentre a sposare la vedova Lefrançois.

Una famiglia di matti

Papà Gimplewart, esasperato da una famiglia di vicini matti che genera continuamente confusione e schiamazzi, cerca di vendere la propria casa. Gimplewart, attraverso un annuncio su un quotidiano, riesce, al secondo tentativo, a permutare la propria magione con un'altra casa, apparentemente migliore e sicuramente più tranquilla. In realtà la nuova villa, costruita con materiali scadenti, crea mille inconvenienti: le porte si staccano, la balaustra delle scale crolla, la vasca da bagno perde e si spacca, mentre l'acqua, filtrando attraverso il pavimento, piove letteralmente nei piatti degli invitati a cena seduti a tavola al pianterreno. Mentre la casa lentamente rischia di crollare al suolo il povero Gimplewart si accorge che i suoi vicini matti si sono trasferiti a fianco alla sua nuova abitazione.

Crime Traveler: The Adventures of Dave Slade

Dave Slade (Nicholas M. Garofolo) faces a myriad of internal and external struggles in trying to figure out what is real or surreal. Then Slade has to navigate his way with a new friend or foe, Krasota, (Karoline Fischer). His Landlord, Mary Lee (Rosie Xu), is a positive presence but she disappears as a result of Krasota who states it is futurist villain Riccoine, (Brett Wise) and his finger weapon. Then futuristic vampires come to Coney Island to cause havoc for Dave Slade, including one attractive blonde, Alvara, (Arina Ozerova) with alternative motives. Slade must navigate through the dark night on Coney Island as the vampires come out to feed including Alvara and her unwanted controlling Silas (Warren Chao). Slade and his ex-CIA cohort, Old Man, (Dave Sweeney) must figure out the way out of these challenges to make things right for themselves and the world at hand.

Looping, chugging and barreling by, the trains in Benning's latest monumental film map a stunning topography and a history of American development. RR comes three decades after Benning and Bette Gordon made The United States of America (1975), a cinematic journey along the country’s interstates that is keenly aware “of superhighways and railroad tracks as American public symbols.” A political essay responding to the economic histories of trains as instruments in a culture of hyper-consumption, RR articulates its concern most explicitly when Eisenhower's military-industrial complex speech is heard as a mile long coal train passes through eastern Wyoming. Benning spent two and a half years collecting two hundred and sixteen shots of trains, forty-three of which appear in RR. The locomotives' varying colors, speeds, vectors, and reverberations are charged with visual thrills, romance and a nostalgia heightened by Benning's declaration that this will be his last work in 16mm film.

Royal Rumble (2011) was the twenty-fourth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It took place on January 30, 2011 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania for his choice at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. The main event was the annual Royal Rumble match featuring 40 participants from both brands, instead of the usual number of 30. The primary match on the Raw brand was for the WWE Championship, between reigning champion The Miz and Randy Orton. The primary match on the SmackDown brand was Edge versus Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship. The other featured match on the card was a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Divas Championship between Eve Torres, Natalya, Layla and Michelle McCool.
