By 1975, Led Zeppelin were the undisputed heavyweight champions of the rock 'n' roll universe. That year, all six of the band’s records had re-entered the charts in the wake of the release of Physical Graffiti, and their tour of North America had been one of the most lucrative of all time. They capped off what had already been a banner year with a career-defining five-night residency at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre, begun on May 17, 1975.

Dopo innumerevoli rinvii, è arrivato il DVD di Pulse, contenente la registrazione dello spettacolo già edito su doppio CD che i Pink Floyd (orfani di Roger Waters) tennero durante il loro ultimo tour, in promozione dell'album "The Division Bell" nel 1994 all'Earls Curt di Londra. Lo storico concerto era già uscito in VHS ma il supporto digitale, oltre ad apportare migliorie sonore, da la possibilità di vedere filmati inediti dei dietro le quinte. Il concerto è suddiviso in due parti: nella prima si trovano i grandi successi come “Learning To Fly”, “Another Brick In The Wall (part 2)” e “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” mentre la seconda è interamente dedicata a “Dark Side Of The Moon”.

L'11 e 12 settembre 2007, la cantante / cantautrice / chitarrista Ani DiFranco ha suonato due spettacoli sold-out davanti al pubblico della sua città natale " Buffalo, New York". Ciò che ha reso quelle notti così speciali non è stata solo la musica - perché sono sempre speciali gli spettacoli di Ani - ma il fatto che stesse suonando gli spettacoli inaugurali nella sua stessa città, una chiesa del centro un tempo prevista per la demolizione che è stata magnificamente restaurata come una sala da musica all'avanguardia e recentemente ribattezzata "Babeville". Ani ha colto l'occasione per creare una sorta di retrospettiva di due notti, eseguendo canzoni di ogni fase della sua favolosa carriera in nuovi arrangiamenti mozzafiato con la sua ultima band itinerante; Allison Miller alla batteria, Todd Sickafoose al basso verticale e Mike Dillon alle vibrazioni e alle percussioni. Lo spirito di festa era nell'aria e l'energia nella stanza, sia sul palco che tra il pubblico, era straordinaria.

E’ l’inizio degli anni ‘90. Tre ragazzi di provincia decidono di formare un gruppo rock. Non vogliono essere il solito gruppo di cover, vogliono fare la loro di musica e vogliono che sia cantata in italiano. Spediscono decine e decine di demo in giro per l’Italia, ma niente sembra accadere. Tra piccole feste di paese e locali che li cacciano via, quei ragazzi non mollano, tengono duro. Fino a che non si trovano nel posto giusto al momento giusto e incontrano un uomo che cambierà le loro sorti e quelle del rock italiano. Quei ragazzi sono i Marlene Kuntz e da quell’incontro nacque Catartica, album che ha sancito un pre e un post nella storia del rock indipendente italiano. Vent’anni dopo l’uscita di Catartica, i Marlene Kuntz riportano in tour tutte le canzoni di quell’album mitico.
