Ginger e Fred

Amelia Bonetti e Pippo Botticella in arte Ginger e Fred sono due attempati ballerini di tip-tap, romantici e un po' squinternati, interpretati da Giulietta Masina e Marcello Mastroianni. Ginger e Fred vengono coinvolti da una tv privata in una sorta di "operazione nostalgia", ma si capisce subito che al centro della scena stanno in realtà la figura del presentatore e la pubblicità. Quando i due vengono chiamati sul palco si verifica un blackout che interrompe il loro numero. Fred-Mastroianni confabulando con Ginger-Masina sull'insensatezza della loro presenza al programma, la convince ad andarsene dal palco insieme a lui prima della ripresa del programma. Mentre in uscita, Pippo sta rivolgendo un gestaccio ai "teledipendenti", la luce torna e i due riprendono tristemente il loro numero di ballo, terminandolo con grande affanno e ricevendo un applauso pietoso.

The Jönsson Gang in Mallorca

Vanheden and Dynamit-Harry, together with Harry's fiancée Doris, are in Mallorca while Sickan is still in Stockholm. However, Wall-Enberg talks him into doing a break-in at Las Palmas cathedral in Mallorca. Once persuaded, he can't resist the temptation and travels to Mallorca as well. However, Wall-Enberg obviously can't be trusted. Sickan is framed, caught and put in jail. While being escorted home to Sweden again, Vanheden and Harry sets up a plan to break him free. Sickan, once free, wants payback. The gang discover that an antiques dealer called Germann has something to do with the whole thing and that she's also collaborating with Wall-Enberg. The gang then decide to take a closer look at her and her antiques and they discover that there's a heist being planned against the cathedral in Palma.

Between Two Worlds

"Between Two Worlds" is a featurette included in the Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery and Twin Peaks: From Z to A Blu-ray releases. It features David Lynch interviewing Grace Zabriskie, Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee, first as their characters (Sarah Palmer, Leland Palmer, and Laura Palmer, respectively), then as themselves. The second portion of the featurette was later released in the Criterion Collection release of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. The Palmer family interview was written by Lynch.

Sergio guida un taxi bianco in una Napoli che trabocca mestizia e immondizia. Sotto una pioggia battente conduce i suoi clienti per la città cercando di elaborare la morte di suo fratello, partito dieci anni prima per il Tibet e mai più tornato. Una cantante pop, un riciclatore di frammenti di vita, uno speaker radiofonico, un vecchio zio, si avvicendano sui suoi sedili recando, ciascuno a suo modo, una traccia del fratello amato. Ostinato a non scendere più e a perdersi dentro una corsa senza fine, Sergio è travolto dai ricordi e dalla musica prodotta in coppia con Alfredo, che nel buddismo e nei suoi fondamenti aveva trovato la forza di affrontare la malattia. Quelle note che credeva sepolte e deposte per sempre, tornano prepotenti e chiedono una cassa armonica in cui risuonare ed esprimere il suo essere sonoro. Mettendo mano al pianoforte, Sergio sentirà di nuovo Alfredo, accordando il passato col presente e realizzandosi nel sentimento.

Oga Kazuo Exhibition: Ghibli No Eshokunin - The One Who Painted Totoro's Forest

From July 21 through September 10th, 2007, the Museum for Contemporary Art Tokyo held an exhibition honouring Kazuo Oga, the art director and background artist for many famed works from Japan's Studio Ghibli. Over 600 works from the artist were on display, and numerous fans flocked to the one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrating the lush, gorgeous background artwork typifying many a work from Hayao Miyazaki and other Ghibli filmmakers. International fans of Oga and Studio Ghibli have not been left out, however. A Ghibli Artisan - Kazuo Oga Exhibition - The One Who Drew Totoro's Forest allows fans the opportunity to attend the exhibition, as well as watch interviews and testimonials with Oga's contemporaries and collaborators, all subtitled in English.
