Era la prima volta che si ritrovavano insieme dal 1973. Dopo aver registrato un nuovissimo album in studio, "Perfect Strangers", i Deep Purple partirono per un tour mondiale. Questo spettacolo è stato girato a Melbourne (Australia) e mostra la band in forma incendiaria. La scaletta miscela nuove tracce dall'album "Perfect Strangers" con le hits dei primi anni settanta che culminano nel brillante finale di "Smoke On The Water".
