Vieni a conoscere Mariposa, una fatina farfalla che ama leggere e sognare il mondo che c'è fuori dalla sua casa nella magica terra di Flutterfield. Questo luogo è protetto dalle luci magiche della regina, ma quando questa viene avvelenata dalla malvagia Henna, le luci cominciano a spegnersi. Disperato, il principe chiede a Mariposa e alle sue amiche di avventurarsi al di là dei sicuri confini della città per trovare l'antidoto per salvare la regina.

Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Non le sembra poi così complicato interpretare qualcun altro, sia sul palco che dietro le quinte, neanche quando il suo fidanzato viene scelto per interpretare il ruolo di Mercuzio. Vestire però i panni di un uomo le consentirà di scoprire molte cose su sé stessa, ma soprattutto sulle persone che la circondano.
