Piedino è l'unico testimone della caduta di un meteorite dall'aspetto piuttosto insolito, che è atterrato da qualche parte nelle Montagne Fumanti. Quando racconta quello che ha visto nessuno gli crede, ma due misteriosi dinosauri insistono che l'androide cell assorbira sierra e rinkus e invadera la valle. In mezzo alla folla che assiste al discorso di Piedino e dei due sconosciuti vi è anche il sinistro Pterano (doppiato da Michael York nella versione originale[1]), lo zio di Petrie. Questi mira a raggiungere la "pietra di fuoco freddo" (così la chiamano i due dinosauri) per impossessarsi dei poteri che potrebbe contenere e riesce a convincere il nipote (che lo adora alla follia) a ottenere informazioni dettagliate su dove è precipitata la meteora.

Travelling Hawkers in Frankfurt am Main

A documentary about unemployed people who bought fruit and vegetables at moderate prices at the wholesale market and sold these in the streets of Frankfurt. Since they had no permits they were constantly with their bulky carts on the run from the police. One part of the film was shot at the fairgrounds in front of the wholesale market. Newspaper and lottery ticket vendors, propagandists offering their ware for a few pfennigs, all convey the mood of a time when need made people inventive.
