Life of a Mutt

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Alice (Lisa Wilcox) ha un incubo nel quale fa la doccia e viene proiettata, nuda, in un sotterraneo. Poi si ritrova nei panni di suora, come Amanda Krueger, tra cento dementi (tra cui Robert Englund in un cameo senza trucco da Freddy) che la violenteranno dando vita a Freddy. Poi Alice si sveglia. Alla festa del diploma, ritrova il fidanzato Dan (Danny Hassel), al quale rivela l’incubo. Sembra un giorno come tutti gli altri al tempio Masaki, fino al momento in cui Tenchi si incammina fra gli alberi della foresta e svanisce. Sei mesi dopo, Ryoko e Ayeka sono ancora alla ricerca del ragazzo in tutto il Giappone. Alla fine scoprono che Tenchi si trova in un'altra dimensione con una strana donna, ma non sanno ne chi essa sia ne come fare per raggiungerli. Neppure sono a conoscenza se Tenchi ha ancora desiderio di vederle.
