Siamo nel 2004. SNEL è il nome di una base spaziale americana: sala circolare, numerosi monitor di computer accesi. Lucas Foster, noto industriale, ha investito miliardi di dollari per finanziare l'impresa di una navicella chiamata Galileo che è stata mandata ad esplorare l'universo. L'intento è quello di salvare l'umanità da un futuro incerto. C'è, infatti, chi crede ancora in un futuro migliore senza più gas mortali come Foster e la sua equipe e chi, invece, pensa che questa missione sia solo pura follia, come i detrattori di Lucas, una parte della stampa e dell'opinione pubblica.

Michiko, now in her 2nd year of high school, gets a cell phone from her mother as a birthday present. Michiko is so excited to have her very first cell phone. Soon afterwards, she is forced into joining social networking site "AvaQ" by classmate, and queen of the classroom, Taeko.

Somewhere in the north-east of France, Eric, a penniless man who lives in his car, rejects his son Esteban, 10 years old, autistic and living under the care of his uncle. Appena è possibile, con la loro compagnia (Deflorian/Tagliarini), Daria e Antonio iniziano le prove di uno studio ispirato a Ginger e Fred di Federico Fellini. La macchina da presa li segue a distanza molto ravvicinata nella preparazione dello spettacolo e anche fuori dallo spazio teatrale. Il pedinamento del loro lavoro di registi, drammaturghi e interpreti, impalpabile, fragile, soggetto a continui cambiamenti, si fa affascinante materia di racconto tanto quanto le attese, i loro confronti anche accesi, le tensioni attorno al tempo per provare, che sembra non bastare mai.
