A picture of the life of the Danish people from the late 1820s to the introduction of the free constitution in 1849. A fictional character, Rasmus Nielsen, travels around the country, first as a traveling teacher, later in other positions, and through his experiences we are introduced to the conditions of various population groups. The central figure in the portrayal of historical figures is the politician Orla Lehmann.

Janma Bhoomi

I condomini dello stabile sito al numero 29 di Rue des Oursins si danno appuntamento per la consueta riunione annuale di condominio. L'amministratore Jean-Lous, uomo senza scrupoli, dirige la riunione e, tra liti, dissapori e piccoli contrasti, si consumano le storie di un teatro di varia umanità. Alla fine forse i condomini avranno trovato una maggiore comprensione, ma... Tipica commedia francese di caratteri, "Riunione di condominio" è un buon risultato. Niente di eccezionale o che non si sia già visto: ma la sceneggiatura è scritta in punta di penna, gli attori reggono il gioco con spirito e la regia asseconda con bravura i loro estri. Lasciando un messaggio - ci si dovrebbe impegnare maggiormente a capire esigenze e personalità altrui - che sarà pur minimo, ma di questi tempi è bene ripetere. E per una volta i soldi del biglietto non sembrano il risultato di un'appropriazione indebita.

One Day When We Were Young
