A fictional character, Rasmus Nielsen, travels around the country, first as a traveling teacher, later in other positions, and through his experiences we are introduced to the conditions of various population groups. The central figure in the portrayal of historical figures is the politician Orla Lehmann.

In the middle of a broadcast about Typhoon Yolanda's initial impact, reporter Jiggy Manicad was faced with the reality that he no longer had communication with his station. They were, for all intents and purposes, stranded in Tacloban. With little option, and his crew started the six hour walk to Alto, where the closest broadcast antenna was to be found. Letting the world know what was happening to was a priority, but they were driven by the need to let their families and friends know they were all still alive. Along the way, they encountered residents and victims of the massive typhoon, and with each step it became increasingly clear just how devastating this storm was. This was a storm that was going to change lives.

Gianni e Pinotto detectives

Gianni e Pinotto, autori di soggetti comico-polizieschi, desiderano richiamare su di sé l'attenzione del col. Andrews, direttore della radio. Alla prima di una trasmissione importante, s'introducono abusivamente nell'uditorio. Durante la trasmissione il col. Andrews muore improvvisamente, colpito da una scarica elettrica. E' assodato che si tratta di un delitto, ma chi ne è l'autore? Gianni e Pinotto si fanno credere detective, incaricati delle indagini, dando così origine ad una serie di comiche avventure. Poliziotti autentici prendono Gianni e Pinotto per gli assassini e li costringono a fuggire. Intanto viene estratta una lotteria radiofonica e ne risulta vincitore Pinotto. Egli deve però presentarsi nell'auditorio entro mezz'ora, perché diversamente il premio è perduto. I due, incuranti dei poliziotti, si presentano durante la trasmissione e col loro intervento permettono di scoprire gli assassini. Così, oltre al premio, avranno la fama cui aspiravano, di uomini del mistero.

Pinocchio è una miniserie televisiva italo-britannica composta da 2 puntate, prodotta da Rai Fiction, Lux Vide e dalla casa di produzione inglese Power. La miniserie, diretta da Alberto Sironi, e scritta da Ivan Cotroneo e Carlo Mazzotta, è ispirata al romanzo Le avventure di Pinocchio. Storia di un burattino di Carlo Collodi. Le due puntate sono andate in onda su Rai 1 l'1 e il 2 novembre 2009. Come ne Le avventure di Pinocchio di Luigi Comencini (1972), Pinocchio è interpretato da un attore bambino (Robbie Kay), il quale torna burattino solo quando non si comporta bene. Oltre ai classici personaggi, tra cui si segnalano il Geppetto di Bob Hoskins e il Grillo Parlante di Luciana Littizzetto, vi è anche il personaggio di Collodi interpretato da Alessandro Gassmann.

È come al solito campo estivo a Camp Manabe, dove i bambini si tormentano a vicenda per divertimento mentre il personale sottopagato del campo fornisce la minor supervisione possibile.
