Godzilla contro i robot

Ad Okinawa circola una profezia: un giorno arriverà un immenso mostro che rischierà di distruggere la Terra, ma sarà fermato dall'intervento di altri due mostri. La profezia sembra avverarsi quando Godzilla senza motivo attacca il Giappone, arrivando anche a ferire gravemente Angilas, suo compagno in tante battaglie. Nessuno sa spiegarsi tale cambiamento, finché non compare un secondo Godzilla, che attacca il primo smascherandolo: si tratta di Mechagodzilla, gigantesco automa che riproduce le fattezze del Godzilla originale, ed è stato costruito da una civiltà aliena per conquistare la Terra.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth

Il film è suddiviso in due parti. La prima parte, Death, ed anche la più lunga, è un lungo montaggio di spezzoni della serie originale, atto a riassumerne i contenuti principali. Death termina la narrazione all'episodio 24, ovvero con la morte dell'ultimo angelo, Kaworu Nagisa, poiché gli episodi 25 e 26 verranno sostituiti dal film "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The end of Evangelion". Alla fine di Death vi sono anche la sigla di coda e un intervallo di cinque minuti prima dell'inizio della seconda parte Rebirth, la quale è più corta ma anche più interessante, poiché è da essa che Evangelion si avvia alla conclusione vera e propria. Rebirth è l'inizio del film "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The end of Evangelion" e sviluppa gli avvenimenti immediatamente successivi alla morte dell'ultimo angelo.

La donna di sabbia

Uno scienziato che svolge ricerche in un deserto chiede ospitalità agli abitanti di un villaggio. Questi lo conducono nella capanna di una donna che si trova in fondo a una depressione sabbiosa raggiungibile solo con una scala di corda. Durante la notte la scala viene però rimossa. Intrappolato nel deserto, l'uomo si troverà combattuto tra il desiderio di libertà e l'amore, la pietà verso la donna fino alla decisione finale di non far ritorno alla civiltà. Una parabola esemplare sul rapporto tra uomo e donna narrata attraverso un evento straordinario e simbolico, con il peso della sabbia che opprime i protagonisti sia in senso fisico che emotivo.

La grande avventura del piccolo principe Valiant

Il giovane Horus (Hols nell'adattamento italiano) si salva dall'attacco di un branco di lupi argentati grazie al provvidenziale risveglio di Mog, un gigante di roccia. Questi, scappati i lupi, si lamenta per un dolore alla spalla ed il giovane, grato per lo scampato pericolo, si adopera per scoprirne la causa, che trova in una vecchia spada conficcata nel granitico essere. Estratta la lama, il gigante rivela al ragazzo che si tratta della leggendaria "Spada del sole", ma che per poterla utilizzare essa dovrà essere temprata di nuovo.

Tre rivelazioni

Un pastore che crede nella rivelazione divina e un detective perseguitato da visioni portano a galla i loro demoni personali mentre cercano una persona scomparsa.

Chunauti

Giappone, epoca Jidai-geki (XVII-XVIII secolo dell'Era Volgare): durante una delle innumerevoli guerre civili, in una casa di campagna, vivono una donna e sua nuora mentre il marito è lontano a combattere quando una notte vengono derubate, violentate ed uccise da un gruppo di samurai senza legge e l'abitazione incendiata. Il giorno dopo un gatto nero (kuroneko in lingua nipponica) si aggira tra le macerie ed i poveri resti delle due donne. Tempo dopo, nella stessa zona, alcuni samurai vengono ritrovati dissanguati nei boschi. Le due donne sono tornate in vita per vendicarsi dei torti subiti, seducendo ed uccidendo tutti i soldati che vagano per quelle terre. Il governatore Raiko, allo scopo di indagare su questi strani avvenimenti, invia Gintoki, un valoroso samurai, il quale, scovate le due assassine, trova ad attenderlo un'amarissima sorpresa: le due donne sono gli spettri di sua madre e sua moglie.
