Lupin III: Lo schieramento della famiglia di Lupin

La trama è pressoché identica al primo episodio della seconda serie, trasmesso trentacinque anni prima, ovvero vediamo la banda di Lupin che, guarda caso, si riunisce dopo un lasso di tempo di cinque anni, su un'isola disabitata. In questo episodio, inizialmente Lupin mostra degli strani comportamenti, inoltre l'isola sembra custodire un segreto, legato alla polvere da sparo. Alla fine lo svolgimento si basa sui vari travestimenti, poi successivamente la grande fuga. Essendo di breve durata, ha poco sviluppo narrativo. La grafica è ottima, condita da degli splendidi disegni; per quanto riguardo il doppiaggio, abbiamo un ritorno del vecchio cast giapponese di Lupin III.

I Was in Lisbon and Remembered You

"In the beginning of this project, I wanted to do a documentary film based on this book by Luiz Ruffato. However, I ended up doing a feature film with many links to documentary. I wanted to know what made Brazilians want to emigrate to Portugal. I chose working with amateur actors and non-actors in both cities, so their own life stories and experiences could be in the film. I did the other way round from the writer. He found these people and made them characters of his book. I looked for people who had similar stories to those described in the book, and made them characters of my film. When I read the book, I was seduced by its "false documentary" characteristic. The book was all written as if it was the transcription of an oral interview the writer had done in Lisbon. I decided to keep this narrative in the film, by a narration with the main character talking to the camera. It's a film about emigration. About dreams and disappointments," says Barahona

Rito d'amore

La giovane Valerie è una ragazza molto determinata: vuole diventare attrice e partecipa a decine di provini, quasi sempre senza successo. Per vivere (condivide un appartamentino con l'amica Louise) accetta anche di posare nuda all'Istituto di Belle Arti, dove conosce Yuro, un giapponese introverso ed inquietante. Valerie, fidanzata con un musicista, si lascia lentamente coinvolgere dal fascino di Yuro, fino ad accettarne ogni condizione. I due finiscono per estraniarsi dal mondo e vivono uniti fisicamente e intellettualmente, in un rapporto ai limiti del patologico. Yuro, portando alle estreme conseguenze la sua filosofia di vita, finisce per uccidere la ragazza (che è consenziente) e a cibarsi delle sue carni: l'ultimo disperato rito d'amore per vivere sempre con lei.
