The boss of the Hung Hing gang, Tian Sang, has died. Ho Nam and Hon Bun find Sangs younger brother, Yang to lead the gang. Meanwhile, Hon Bun receives news that his younger brother, a leader of the Tuen Mun gang has been assasinated. They travel to Hong Kong to settle the matter.

Un poeta di campagna, Deeds, riceve un'eredità di venti milioni di dollari. Arrivato a New York si difende sagacemente dalla rapacità di diversi avvoltoi che mirano alla sua ricchezza. Ma resta facile vittima delle seduzioni di una giornalista che, nascondendo il suo vero essere, si spaccia per una povera fanciulla. Deeds s'innamora, ma quando comprende che la ragazza ha invece avuto per solo scopo di poterlo avvicinare per redigere quelle cronache sul conto di lui che lo hanno reso lo zimbello della città, decide di dividere tutto il suo patrimonio tra i poveri e ritornarsene al suo paese. Quindi intervengono altri pretendenti all'eredità che cercano di farlo interdire. Il poeta non vuol difendersi e si avvierebbe alla rovina se - convintosi del pentimento della giornalista e dell'affetto che ella ora sente per lui - non si decidesse finalmente a parlare dinanzi ai giudici. La causa è vinta e con essa vince anche, su ogni altra cosa, l'affetto tra i due giovani.

Il film cerca di fornire una rappresentazione del particolare rapporto che c’è tra gli austriaci e i loro seminterrati e di definire le specificità di questi luoghi. I seminterrati sono i luoghi in cui gli austriaci, soprattutto uomini, passano il tempo libero. Im Keller punta una luce su questi luoghi sotterranei che normalmente sono nascosti e, se da un lato fornisce delle risposte, dall’altro pone nuove domande al pubblico.

Dev Kumar Verma comes from a middle-class family and must find employment to support his dad and mom. Dev, however, has set his mind upon becoming a music sensation like Elvis Presley. He loses his job because of this, and refuses to work until and unless he gets a job to his liking, much to the dismay of his parents and his brother, Shiv Kumar. Dev does get employment at Charlie's Disco, where he meets with Maya and falls in love with her. When Charlie's Disco's competitor, Rana, finds out about Dev, he wants to hire Dev, but Dev decides to continue to work with Charlie's Disco, as a result Dev and Charlie get a beating by Rana's men, and Dev is unable to sing. After recuperating, Dev is devastated to find out that Maya and Shiv Kumar are in love with each other. What impact will this have on Dev and his brother on one hand, and what of his career in music?
