Captain Hook

Nikita Kryukov is a successful hockey player in the past, who ended his sports and then his agent career because of his uncontrollable anger. No one is ready to work with him. Suddenly, he receives a message about his mother's death. He breaks off to his hometown. But it turns out that this message was sent by the mother's youngest daughter from her second husband. After his father's death, Nikita almost immediately went to Moscow, and then to America, and all this time he did not communicate with his mother — he could not forgive the fact that she almost immediately got together with another.

Kseniya is a talented developer. But she fails during the presentation of the project and decides to go on vacation, renting a house on the ocean for a vacation. Roughly chronological, from 3/96 to 11/96, with a coda in spring of 1997: inside compounds of Aum Shinrikyo, a Buddhist sect led by Shoko Asahara. (Members confessed to a murderous sarin attack in the Tokyo subway in 1995.) We see what they eat, where they sleep, and how they respond to media scrutiny, on-going trials, the shrinking of their fortunes, and the criticism of society. Central focus is placed on Hiroshi Araki, a young man who finds himself elevated to chief spokesman for Aum after its leaders are arrested. Araki faces extreme hostility from the Japanese public, who find it hard to believe that most followers of the cult had no idea of the attacks and even harder to understand why these followers remain devoted to the religion, if not the violence.

Foo Fighters play a two and a half hour set at the iTunes Festival, at The Roundhouse in London, on July 11, 2012. Dave Grohl and co were joined onstage by Lemmy of Motorhead for a rendition of ‘Shake Your Blood’ and later joined by Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen for a version of ‘Tie Your Mother Down’, with Foo's drummer Taylor Hawkins on vocals.
