Darkside Blues

In un futuro dove una singola società detiene ormai il 90 per cento delle terre emerse, gli esseri umani sono considerati come dei parassiti. La Persona Century (la società in questione) tollera la loro presenza, ma fa della Terra ciò che vuole, distruggendo zone abitate e punendo brutalmente ogni tipo di resistenza. Un esercito, robots e satelliti killer sono gli strumenti repressivi nei confronti dei pochi uomini rimasti sulla superficie della Terra. Diversi gruppi di terroristi e ribelli combattono per la difesa dell’ultimo 10 per cento della terra rimasto ancora libero, fra questo (guarda un pò) c’è la città di Tokyo, dove si svolgeranno le vicende del film, in particolare nella zona di Darkside (appellativo del quartiere Shinjuku). Darkside è anche il misterioso, strano, vagamente Victoriano “protagonista” del nostro anime.
