Mentre Tom sta inseguendo Jerry, il topo si rifugia in una tana in cantina, dove ha preparato varie "armi" con cui colpire Tom: un pomodoro, uova e delle bottiglie di spumante i cui tappi vengono usati come proiettili. Tom finisce in una pentola a galla in una tinozza d'acqua, e Jerry lo affonda tirandogli un mattone. Il topo emette così il suo primo comunicato di "guerra", comunicando l'affondamento del gatto (nell'edizione italiana viene invece letto "procedere alla distruzione"). Tom prova quindi a colpire Jerry con un martello, usando del formaggio come esca, ma il topo se ne accorge e attacca Tom prima con una jeep (costruita con una grattugia) e poi con una mazza dopo aver annebbiato la stanza con della farina. Tom decide quindi di usare petardi e fuochi d'artificio, ma essi vengono deviati su di lui da Jerry oppure gli si ritorcono contro...

Tom, un tronfio gatto, grigio si diverte a tormentare un topo. Spesso i risultati del comportamento di Tom sono i danni a qualsiasi elemento della casa che si trovi sul suo cammino. Alla fine la sua proprietaria lo avverte che sarà buttato fuori di casa se distruggerà un altro oggetto. Realizzando questo, il topo decide di far sfrattare il suo avversario lanciando volutamente in aria bicchieri da cocktail e piatti, con Tom che cerca disperatamente di fermarlo ogni volta.

Topolino vince il bandito

Siamo nel selvaggio West e Topolino si sta recando al saloon per prendere un drink dalla bella Minnie. Entrato si mette a ballare, ma per sbaglio tira il naso a Minnie che lo picchia e lo manda a suonare il pianoforte; ma poco dopo fa irruzione Pietro Gambadilegno che si mette subito ad importunare Minnie. Topolino accorre e fronteggia il nemico che, con l'inganno, spegne la luce e ne approfitta per fuggire via con Minnie. Topolino lo insegue a cavallo e riesce a far fermare il mulo di Pietro che fa precipitare, per il brusco arrestamento, il suo padrone. Atterrato Pietro riceve un enorme masso in testa che lo rende simile ad una fisarmonica e si allontana; finalmente Topolino e Minnie possono stare insieme.

Il professor Craziloff (da "crazy", una sorta di scienziato pazzo) ha brevettato un mezzo che raduna tutte le conoscenze in fatto di trasporto (treno, auto, mongolfiera, sottomarino, ecc.). Con questo organizza uno straordinario viaggio con alcuni compagni, tra i quali un giovane assistente pasticcione. Dopo una tappa in Svizzera, il convoglio usa una montagna come trampolino e arriva in cielo, dove viaggia tra stelle di cartone, animate da avvenenti ballerine. Infine giunge nientemeno che sul Sole. Da qui, dopo alcune avventure, il gruppo riparte tuffandosi verso la terra, dove sprofonda nel mare con la cabina sommergibile, e dove fa un incontro con un mostro marino; infine approda a un porto, dove il gruppo viene riconosciuto dalla popolazione locale e, facendo festa, rientra trionfalmente in città.
