Press - Storie di False Verità

Maurizio e Luca sono due dipendenti di una rete televisiva regionale (Rete Unita 2). Maurizio è un giovane giornalista intraprendente, Luca è il suo cameraman. Preoccupato per gli imminenti tagli al personale e stanco dei servizi che gli vengono affidati, Maurizio decide di renderli più interessanti e curiosi, inventandoli in parte. Luca partecipa malvolentieri all'operazione. I servizi giornalistici vengono "ritoccati" in maniera sempre più spudorata, ed hanno sempre più successo, ma tra Luca e Maurizio nasce un forte conflitto sull'etica del lavoro.

Ladies & Gentlemen, the Rolling Stones

A concert film taken from two Rolling Stones concerts during their 1972 North American tour. In 1972, the Stones bring their Exile on Main Street tour to Texas: 15 songs, with five from the "Exile" album. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman on a small stage with three other musicians. Until the lights come up near the end, we see the Stones against a black background. The camera stays mostly on Jagger, with a few shots of Taylor. Richards is on screen for his duets and for some guitar work on the final two songs. It's music from start to finish: hard rock ("All Down the Line"), the blues ("Love in Vain" and "Midnight Rambler"), a tribute to Chuck Berry ("Bye Bye Johnny"), and no "Satisfaction."

Final Move

The LA police are baffled: someone is killing people who have been found innocent of violent crimes. At the crime scenes, DNA evidence and clues linked to chess point to a suspect who's dead, recently executed for murders with a similar M.O. The cops call on Dan Marlowe, an ex-cop with psychic gifts, in an asylum after the trauma of the initial investigation. His wife wants him to say no; her brother is his former partner, who leans on Dan to help. Dan's ex-lover, an FBI agent, is also on the case, and behind the scenes is Myron, Dan's chess partner at the asylum. The game turns more deadly when Dan and family become the target. Did the cops initially get the wrong man?
