Bill Frisell Trio - Melbourne Jazz Festival 2017 (2017)

Questo fine settimana ha visto l'inizio del 20 ° Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Il programma è stracolmo come sempre di superstar internazionali di jazz, e stanotte il pubblico è stato onorato dalla magia del Bill Frisell Trio, che comprende lo stesso Frisell alla chitarra, Thomas Morgan al contrabbasso, Rudy Royston alla batteria. Il concerto è durato 80 minuti (il trio ha suonato due volte nella stessa notte) ogni minuto era colmo di complessità. La musica tendeva lontano da forme facilmente identificabili, con ciascuno dei tre musicisti che si scandivano reciprocamente il suono. La dinamica tra i tre musicisti si presenta come una conversazione tra amici in cui tutti parlano l'uno sull'altro, ma con amore, e tutti catturano il significato di tutto ciò che viene espresso .

In sostanza, questa riedizione consiste nella somma dei due film originari del 1997 senza le scene inedite e senza la seconda parte del primo film, riproposta identica nel secondo. In Giappone è stato pubblicato nei DVD 9 e 10 della Renewal of Evangelion.

Ragat

Ragat (Blood) is a powerful Nepali film that highlights caste discrimination and social injustice. "Earth Summit Mission" is the first 4K documentary recording a scientific expedition. The 60-minute Earth Summit Mission documentary is a record of the second Chinese scientific expedition to Mount Qomolangma which took place in the summer of 2022. It involved around 200 scientists, led by Yao Tandong from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research under the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In the course of the expedition, the scientists set a number of records, from collecting ice and snow samples from the highest point on Earth and setting up the world’s highest weather station, to sending up an observation aerostat to an altitude of over 9,000 meters.
