Si intitola “Lupo bianco” il lungometraggio ispirato alla storia vera di Carlo Olmo, avvocato di Vercelli e fondatore dell’Accademia Shen Qi Kwoon Tai che durante la prima ondata del coronavirus è sceso in campo recuperando in quantità industriale dispositivi di protezione individuale e donandoli alla comunità. Proprio mentre in tutta Italia le mascherine scarseggiavano e la popolazione era nel panico più totale, Olmo si è adoperato per aiutare la popolazione. Ha acquistato 160mila mascherine (tra quelle chirurgiche e le Ffp2) che ha donato ai vercellesi, ai dottori e agli infermieri che lavoravano in prima linea negli ambulatori dei medici di famiglia, negli ospedali e nelle Rsa. Una quantità ingente di preziose protezioni che Olmo è riuscito a distribuire gratuitamente anche fuori provincia facendo arrivare la sua generosità in diversi ospedali lombardi (allora fortemente in affanno) e in quelli liguri.
