In the beginning of the movie, 20 years ago, on the moon, the 4 Ultra brothers, Ultraman, Seven, Jack, and Ace were fighting a deadly foe known as Yapool, a monster that was several times their size. As they fought, Yapool had a clear advantage and used his several claws to grasp the brothers, although, they managed to clear from the claws through there powers and used a combined Specium Ray to no avail. The monster then flies off to Earth to dodge the attack and the brothers follow. The brothers were barely able to defeat Yapool but the monster still needed to be sealed. However, to seal Yapool away they were forced to give up the ability to transform, and took up jobs to be in the area of Kobe in case the monster ever returned.

WWE WrestleMania VIII

WWE WrestleMania VIII was the eighth annual WrestleMania. It took place on April 5, 1992 at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. The only WrestleMania officially recognized by WWE.com to have featured more than one headlining match, its card included two equally-promoted main events. In the first, WWF Champion Ric Flair defended his title against Randy Savage, and in the second, Hulk Hogan faced Sid Justice. As a consequence of the double main event, WrestleMania VIII carried two taglines: "The Macho/Flair Affair!" and "Friendship Torn Apart!" But this new history of family ties is narrated from a perspective in which adultery manifests itself openly. Endowed with a slow narrative rhythm, the film presents an international cast headed by Ángela Molina, Bruno Ganz, Francesca Annis and Stefan Gubser. The film also has the presence of a very young Juan Diego Botto, in one of his first appearances on the big screen.

White Wolf

A gray wolf raised on a farm kills the family dog, and to save him from being destroyed, a boy named Lasset makes a trek through the wilderness with the wolf to a wilderness sanctuary 300 miles to the north. The BGM in the film consists entirely of Dvorak's Serenade for Strings, making it perhaps the only anime since Gauche the Cellist to make use of a single piece of classical music as the soundtrack. The plot of the film is simple and the outcome obvious, but the atmosphere of the film is genuine, and it is very moving in parts thanks to Dvorak's music (which is scored entirely for the most emotional of the instrument groups, the strings). This is a straightforward drama about the friendship between a boy and his wolf, and it pushes all the buttons you'd expect, but it's very enjoyable despite all that.

Il figlio di Godzilla

Un gruppo di scienziati giapponesi, guidati da Kusumi, si trova da tempo su di un isolotto del Pacifico per effettuare, per conto dell'Onu, un esperimento di ibernazione e verificare pertanto se è possibile per l'uomo mutare le condizioni climatiche nel mondo e rendere così fertili le regioni deserte. Intanto si dà il via all'esperimento, che fallisce per alcune interferenze che impediscono il contatto decisivo. Questi impedimenti sono causati dalle grida di richiamo del figlio di Godzilla, un mostro preistorico racchiuso nel suo uovo che alcune mantidi giganti cercano di rompere.

Shin Ultraman

La continua apparizione di gigantesche forme di vita non identificate, note come “Specie di Classe S”, è diventata comune in Giappone, ma le armi convenzionali non hanno alcun effetto su di loro. Avendo esaurito tutte le altre opzioni, il governo giapponese emana così il Protocollo di Soppressione delle Specie di Classe S e forma un’unità di controllo nota come SSSP. I membri scelti per l’unità sono il leader Fumio Tamura, lo stratega esecutivo Shinji Kaminaga, il fisico senza particelle Taki Akihisa e la biologa universale Yume Funaberi. Mentre la minaccia delle specie di classe S si aggrava, un gigante d’argento appare da oltre l’atmosfera terrestre. L'analista Hiroko Asami, compagna di Kaminaga e neo-nominata all’SSSP per occuparsi di questo gigante, fa rapporto scrivendo: “Ultraman (nome provvisorio), identità sconosciuta”.

Gamera - Il mostro gigante

Nei cieli del Polo Nord si svolge un combattimento tra due aerei nemici, uno dei quali viene colpito e precipita e si schianta nel ghiaccio. Questa esplosione, simile a quella nucleare, risveglia Gamera, gigantesca tartaruga alta 60 metri che dormiva sepolta nel ghiaccio da circa 8.000 anni. Il mostro si immerge nel mare e fa rotta verso il Giappone mentre scienziati e forze armate si mobilitano per fermarlo. Una volta raggiunta la terraferma, Gamera, che pure ha rispetto per la vita degli esseri umani specialmente se bambini, provoca una impressionante serie di devastazioni. Però un bambino di questi, fissato con le tartarughe e salvato dallo stesso Gamera, si adopererà per impedire che la gigantesca tartaruga venga uccisa.

Pulgasari

Nella Corea feudale, i contadini organizzano una ribellione contro il loro malvagio sovrano. Per evitare che il popolo si armi, il sovrano ordina il sequestro di tutti i loro attrezzi da lavoro e, intanto, imprigiona anche l'anziano fabbro. Prima di morire, quest'ultimo forgia una miniatura di Pulgasari, un kaijū che si nutre di ferro. Il sangue di sua figlia permetterà a questa creatura di diventare reale e di combattere al fianco dei poveri, contro la monarchia corrotta.

A bordo di un piccolo sottomarino, due intraprendenti boy-scout - un americano e un giapponese - incontrano sul fondo del mare Gamera, la gigantesca testuggine, con la quale entrano subito in sintonia: Gamera, infatti, ama i bambini e gioca volentieri con loro. Tutto fila liscio, almeno fino a quando alla cosa non si interessano gli extraterrestri: nella loro mente, dominata dall'imperativo di conquistare la Terra, si fa strada l'idea di servirsi della creatura marina. Dopo aver risucchiati a bordo di un disco volante bambini e mostro, applicano sul collo di quest'ultimo un marchingegno che consente di comandarlo a distanza e gli ordinano di partire alla volta del Giappone per devastarlo. I due piccoli boy-scout riescono a liberarsi e a distruggere il dispositivo che annulla la volontà di Gamera, ma come arma di riserva, gli invasori possono, però, ancora contare su Bairasu, sorta di calamaro gigante, che scatenano contro la testuggine...

Due ragazzini giapponesi, per puro sbaglio, mettono in moto un'astronave e finiscono nello spazio per assistere alla lotta cruenta tra Godzilla (Guiron) e Gaos. Una strana creatura sembiante una tartaruga di nome Grande King (Gamera) però veglierà sui due fanciulli indifesi.

Shin Masked Rider

Takeshi Hongo è un ragazzo in gamba e con un’intelligenza sopra la media. L’operazione fortunatamente viene interrotta e riesce a fuggire prima che la sua personalità venga cancellata. Da quel giorno dedicherà la sua vita a sconfiggere i ‘superuomini’ che la Shocker manda per eliminarlo e si porrà come obiettivo quello di debellare questa pericolosa organizzazione.

Power Rangers - Il film

I Power Rangers saltano giù dal portellone di un aereo, aprono il paracadute e colpiscono in pieno l’obiettivo. I mutanti dai poteri eccezionali sono riconoscibili per via dei colori: Rocky è rosso, Adam nero, Tommy bianco, Billy blu e la vezzosa Kimberly tutta rosa. La serie televisiva che negli Stati Uniti fu campione di audience fin dall’esordio nel 1993, era stata già sostituita nel cuore dei piccoli telespettatori da più recenti personaggi, e l’aver affidato l’azione ad attori in carne e ossa non basta a riportare il successo. I bambini faticano a ritrovare le loro chiassose avventure, gli effetti speciali non hanno la stessa vivacità che sfoggiavano nei cartoni animati.

Ghidorah! Il mostro a tre teste

Una principessa himalayana viene posseduta dallo spirito di una venusiana, scappata dal suo pianeta prima che venisse devastato dal mostruoso King Ghidorah, potente drago spaziale che viaggia nello spazio che attraversa con un meteorite. La principessa, che qualcuno intende assassinare, cerca di avvertire i potenti della Terra, ma non viene ascoltata. Solo nelle fatine-sacerdotesse di Mothra riesce a trovare un aiuto. In quello stesso momento tuttavia fanno la loro comparsa anche Godzilla e Rodan, che cominciano ad attaccare il Giappone...
