Coldplay at the BBC

Coldplay showcased several tracks from their new album in an open-air concert at the BBC Television Centre in London. Tra il 1979 e il 1987, in breve Yurek, ha scalato i quattordici Ottomila del pianeta. Reinhold Messner fu il primo a superarlo ma gli ci vollero sedici anni. Kukuczka ha portato a termine l'impresa in otto anni, alla maniera polacca: a volte in inverno, spesso per nuove vie, sempre in ottima forma. Fu nel mondo ostile dei Tatra, questa catena montuosa a cavallo tra Polonia e Slovacchia, che apprese per la prima volta il rigore dell'inverno in montagna, ma fu l'Himalaya a creare la sua leggenda.
