The Secret Six

Bootlegger/cafe owner, Johnny Franks recruits crude working man Scorpio to join his gang, masterminded by crooked criminal defense lawyer Newton. Scorpio eventually takes over Frank's operation, beats a rival gang, becomes wealthy, and dominates the city for several years until a secret group of six masked businessmen have him prosecuted and sent to the electric chair.

Someone's Wife in the Boat of Someone's Husband

Legends abound on the Indonesian island of Sawai, but when a young woman arrives to find out more about a story her grandmother told her, no one knows a thing about Halimah who ran away from her husband to have an affair with the sailor Sukab. She does meet a young traveller called Sukab though. In this modest romance, almost documentary shots of village life are combined with the captivating beauty of jungle and sea. With a small walk-on for a squid. Edwin was invited to shoot this modern fairy tale by the film festival in the Korean city of Jeonju as part of the Jeonju Digital Project which in 2013 had the theme Strangers.

In the 1980s, security forces carry out secret operations known as “Petrus” to suppress rampant thuggery, spreading terror among notorious figures like Baron, Pange, and Bedul. Baron grows even more fearful when he hears that Pange and Bedul have already fallen victim to these mysterious shootings. Determined to change his ways, he seeks to make amends with his mother and turn his life around for his girlfriend, Ratna. But will he get the chance?

Scooby-Doo! and the Sea Monsters

The scares start in Hawaii, where Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are scarfing down the surf-and-turf menu until a giant serpent tries to swallow them faster than you can say She Sees Sea Monsters by the Seashore. In Uncle Scooby and Antarctica, a friendly penguin invites the Mystery, Inc. crew to visit his polar home, which happens to be haunted by an ice ghost! Then, the gang meets music group Smash Mouth while visiting Australia's Great Barrier Reef to watch Shaggy and Scooby compete in a sand castle contest in Reef Grief! Just when they think it's safe to go back in the water... it isn't.

Augustus just wants to live through life without responsibility. After a confrontation with his girlfriend, Breeze, he has an encounter with a strange mysterious character who challenges his view on life.

Chelsea FC - Season Review 2017/18

Chelsea have developed that winning habit of ending the season in glory. The Blues' eighth FA Cup triumph arrived in a campaign which once again delivered excitement in abundance. There was class, craft and commitment throughout Antonio Conte's side. From the wizardry of Eden Hazard to the non-stop dynamic displays of N'Golo Kante and the all-action performances from Marcos Alonso, which earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year, there was rarely opportunity to take breath. Established stars Thibaut Courtois, Willian and Cesc Fabregas lined up alongside new boys Antonio Rudiger, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, as Chelsea approached a new era. There was drama from start to finish, in a season full of unforgettable moments that began and ended in Wembley, with victory over Manchester United confirming a fourth major honour in four years.

Scent of the Lotus Pond

Three rural, working class garment factory girls - a pampered prima-Donna (Mangala), a safe runner (Swineetha) and a tormented vixen (Gothami) go through trials and tribulations of their bitter sweet youth in a liberalized industrial zone in the city. Lovelorn Gothami makes life difficult for everyone around her and creates her own tragedy by obsessively falling in love with her pretty friend Mangala's sexually frustrated lover, Vipula. The carefree existence of the three girls end in catastrophe and gothami disappears. An accidental meeting of the two girls after several years results in a confession by the ever winning Mangala. the revelation shocks Gothami. Perhaps for the first time Gothami sees life, winning and losing, suffering and salvation in a completely different perspective, which she never thought existed.

Toy Story - Vacanze hawaiane

Mesi dopo Toy Story 3, è arrivata la pausa invernale per Bonnie, che va in vacanza alle Hawaii insieme alla sua famiglia per una settimana. I giocattoli sono molto contenti di avere una settimana di tranquillità. Solo Barbie e Ken cercano di nascondersi, come veri e propri clandestini, nello zaino di Bonnie, sperando di andare con lei. Purtroppo Bonnie li lascia nella sua stanza. Ken rimane sconvolto quando si rende conto di non poter andare alle Hawaii. Barbie confessa a Woody che Ken aveva intenzione di baciarla per la prima volta su una spiaggia al tramonto (come suggerito da un opuscolo di viaggio). Woody, Buzz e gli altri giocattoli di Bonnie decidono di fare del proprio meglio per ricreare il paradiso tropicale per Barbie e Ken.

Just after a jury finds Ann Grey guilty of murder, the car carrying her to prison crashes into another car. Ann escapes and ends up in lawyer Tony Baxter's car. Tony realizes Ann is innocent, so he vows to help her prove it, risking his neck in the process. Tony and Ann are pursued by the police and by Smiley Gordon, a mob boss who engineered Ann's escape thinking that she can lead him to a $250,000 stash.

Music Is the Art of Time 3, LP Film Laibach

A film about the first Laibach album officially released in Yugoslavia. The record came out despite the political ban that was in place on the band's name at the time, in 1985 - but without the name or a title. A black cross on the cover was enough.
