Pluto e l'arrosto

La mammy mette fuori di casa Pluto, ma il cane sente subito il profumo dell'arrosto cucinato dalla donna. Così rientra in casa di nascosto per mangiarselo. Dopo aver tentato inutilmente di raggiungere l'arrosto usando un'asse da stiro, Pluto finisce per inspirare del sapone in polvere e inghiottire dell'acqua saponata. Inizia così a starnutire, creando ogni volta un sacco di bolle. Gli starnuti lo portano a rompere delle tazzine, richiamando l'attenzione della mammy. La donna si precipita nella stanza, sospettando subito del cane, ma Pluto riesce a tornare in giardino appena in tempo. La mammy si accorge che Pluto sta dormendo (per finta), e torna in casa. Il cane è felice, anche se le bolle continuano a uscirgli dalla bocca.

Le vacanze di Paperino

Paperino fa una gita in kayak. Quando arriva al suo campo scarica il kayak, combatte con la sua sedia pieghevole e si mette a dormire. Nel frattempo gli scoiattoli del bosco, attratti dal suo starnazzare, trafugano l'enorme pila di cibo che con noncuranza il papero ha scaricato. A complicare le cose arriva un orso, così Paperino è costretto a smontare la sua tenda (ovvero il kayak trasformabile) e a fuggire lontano.

Love of a Thousand Years - Story of Genji

Based on the ancient Japanese Tale of Genji. This film is set in 900AD and tells the story of a famous female writer of the time, Murasaki Shikibu. Her story begins from the death of her husband, a Japanese noble, then moves on to her recruitment to train the Prince's young 'wives in waiting'. It is dotted throughout and actually composed mainly of one of the fictional stories she wrote, the tale of Genji. Genji is a rich playboy who falls in love and has a son to his stepmother. He falls in love often and has many wives whom are all completely subservient to him. Genji is played by a woman actress from the all-female Takarazuka theatre. The two interrelating stories are also interrupted occasionally by fantasimical musical clips from a past Japanese teen-idol, Seiko Matsuda.

Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai

'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Ata Hai' revolves around the Pintos and the people connected to them. There's Albert who's pretty much angry at everybody. His brother Dominic who thinks it's better to be jobless than to work an underpaid job, his patient sister Joan who works at a sari shop, his independent girlfriend Stella who feels under-appreciated by her boyfriend, his father and his colleagues, client and Stella's family. The film is very much a social commentary about Middle-class life in Bombay during the late ’70s and the conflicts arising in the labour force because workers were getting severely underpaid.
