Gunpowder

At the end of September 1941, Soviet artillery troops in besieged Leningrad realize that pretty soon they will fire their last shot, and after that the defense of the city will be doomed. The film is based on a true event: a small group of fearless soldiers transported a large supply of gunpowder through enemy lines to Leningrad.

Spettacolo teatrale del trio comico Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo del 1999, con la regia di Arturo Brachetti. La rappresentazione, che è stata anche commercializzata in versione DVD, ha visto protagonisti oltre ai membri del trio (Aldo Baglio, Giovanni Storti e Giacomo Poretti) anche Marina Massironi, Corrado Guzzanti, Antonio Cornacchione e Raul Cremona. Il titolo è un gioco di parole in quanto presenta una forte assonanza con la frase "tel chi el terùn" ("eccolo qui il terrone"). In effetti, il trio - che è composto da due attori settentrionali e uno meridionale - deve parte del suo successo alla forte contrapposizione linguistico-caratteriale dei propri membri e utilizza talvolta, sempre in senso bonariamente scherzoso, anche la parola "terrone" nei propri sketch.

Bel gioco dura poco. Scritta da Jean Bernard-Luc sulla base di un romanzo di André Lang, è una commedia macabra dove, però, l'accento cade più sull'aggettivo che sul sostantivo. Ben recitata con un brio distaccato, ma ripetitiva e prolissa. 34° e ultimo film di R. Bernard, figlio del noto commediografo Tristan che, dopo qualche film notevole tra le due guerre, dopo il 1945 si adagiò nel mestiere.
