Coldplay at the BBC

Coldplay showcased several tracks from their new album in an open-air concert at the BBC Television Centre in London. The gig – broadcast live on BBC Two – featured new material such as 'Violet Hill' and '42', alongside old favorites including 'Clocks', 'Fix You' and 'In My Place'. The band left the main stage briefly to perform an acoustic version of 'Yellow' against the backdrop of the Television Centre building. The gig ended with a rousing version of 'Lovers in Japan' that involved showering the crowd with thousands of paper butterflies.

Bruce Torrence is an aviator and member of the secret service. His rival for the hand of Zella Wingate is Juan Lascelles, a drug smuggler. To get rid of Torrence, Lascelles loosens a wheel on one of his planes, but Zella is the one who goes up in it. Torrence goes up in another plane and attaches a fresh wheel to Zella's plane. In spite of his efforts he later finds her in Lascelles' arms.

Garance, dopo aver superato alcune vicissitudini con la giustizia, che la costringeranno ad abbandonare temporaneamente Parigi, reincontra il mimo, che nel frattempo ha sposato una sua collega di spettacolo, e corona il suo sogno trascorrendo con lui una notte d'amore. Vengono però scoperti dalla moglie di Baptiste e sono costretti a lasciarsi proprio il giorno dei festeggiamenti per il carnevale.
