Nel pollaio di una fattoria, le uova di una gallina si schiudono ma tra di esse ce n'è una d'anatra. La gallina rifiuta l'anatroccolo, e tutti i tentativi del piccolo di unirsi ai propri "fratelli" falliscono. Il piccolo si sente solo ed emarginato, ma in seguito ad una tromba d'aria la gallina si trova separata dai suoi pulcini, in balia della corrente di un fiume che porta ad una cascata. Il coraggioso anatroccolo sfida la sorte e decide di salvare i fratelli usando un mantice come imbarcazione. Una volta riportati tutti i pulcini sani e salvi a riva, la madre adotta anche lui nella sua nidiata.

Una lezione sull'amicizia e sulle diversità da cui si sviluppa una storia molto divertente.

Immersa nella sua disperazione, un passante la incontrò e trovandola sconsolata suggerì alla pecora tosata che anche senza manto di lana poteva tranquillamente ballare e mantenere il suo senso di autostima.

Alcuni di essi prelevano del sangue di Godzilla, nel frattempo giunto in città. Dopo un primo duello con Godzilla gli insetti si uniscono insieme al D.N.A di Godzilla facendo nascere Megagurius, un insetto gigante che ricorda molto la sorella di Mothra, Battra, anche se più spaventosa. Nel duello finale Godzilla sconfiggerà Megaguirus con un potentissimo raggio atomico salvando la città.
