An accident in the butchers shop leads Norman Pitkin and Mr Grimsdale to the hospital where, after causing the normal ammount of chaos, Pitkin finds Lindy, a little girl who hasn't spoken or smiled since her parents were killed in an aeroplane accident. Pitkin decides to help.

Il figlio di Godzilla

Un gruppo di scienziati giapponesi, guidati da Kusumi, si trova da tempo su di un isolotto del Pacifico per effettuare, per conto dell'Onu, un esperimento di ibernazione e verificare pertanto se è possibile per l'uomo mutare le condizioni climatiche nel mondo e rendere così fertili le regioni deserte. Ai ricercatori si aggrega un giornalista, Goro, il quale, benché malvisto all'inizio, riesce poi ad inserirsi nel gruppo. Questi un giorno, durante una passeggiata sulla riva del mare, vede una ragazza, che scompare improvvisamente alla sua vista, e non avendo altre prove la notizia non è creduta dai compagni. Intanto si dà il via all'esperimento, che fallisce per alcune interferenze che impediscono il contatto decisivo. Questi impedimenti sono causati dalle grida di richiamo del figlio di Godzilla, un mostro preistorico racchiuso nel suo uovo che alcune mantidi giganti cercano di rompere.

Peccato però che la pietra preziosa non sia una pietra preziosa, bensì un antico uovo di Barugon. Sottoposto ad una luce infrarossa il reperto si schiude e la malefica creatura che nasce si rivela particolarmente contenta di essere venuta al mondo, se non altro, per dar prova di tutta le sue capacità distruttive. A salvare il Giappone ed il mondo, ci penserà, ancora una volta la generosa Gamera.
