Dino Saluzzi & Anja Lechner - El Encuentro

Essi provengono da ambienti che difficilmente potevano essere più diversi - Saluzzi dal Sud America con il tango e le tradizioni popolari e Lechner dal mondo della musica classica europea, ma hanno lavorato a stretto contatto sin dalla metà degli anni 1990, a cominciare dal Kultrum alleanza tra Saluzzi e il Rosamunde Quartett. "El Encuentro" offre intuizioni sulla vita di questi musicisti che viaggiano si vede nel video concerto, in sessioni di prove, in studi di registrazione, e in contesti informali, variamente uniti da un cast che comprende il compositore Tigran Mansurian, arrangiatore Levon Eskenian, il pianista George Gruntz, e il fratello di Saluzzi, sassofonista / clarinettista Felix Saluzzi. Il viaggio culmina in un concerto di musiche di Saluzzi con la Metropole Orchestra in Muziekgebow di Amsterdam. Un musicista che ha creato un linguaggio unico e personale, "Io compongo con speranze e ricordi", dice Dino Saluzzi.
