Il film fu "il primo prodotto in odorama": grattando e annusando una speciale scheda, si potevano sperimentare in sala gli odori della storia che passava sullo schermo. Visto oggi, rimane abbastanza irriverente, pur essendo meno "maledetto" dei precedenti.

Il rapporto centrale è raccontato senza sadismo né compiacimenti morbosi.
