Cinquantantre anni dopo, un team di recuperatori di relitti arriva su una base spaziale ancora funzionante benché apparentemente deserta. Il capo del team Rick (Anders Hove) ha un piano personale in mente: recuperare il prezioso carico della base e filarsela. Nel farlo però apre la capsula e trova Charlie, che si risveglia. Trova anche i critters, che lo uccidono e si disperdono per la base, famelici come sempre.
