Director Curtis Clark likely had artistic reasons for adding the film’s strange effects. But those elements are primarily there because they tend to trip up video codecs, or software that compresses and decompresses digital video, and other elements of the streaming pipeline.

Fare l’amore da soli, il documentario diretto da Nicholas Tana, “Sticky: A (Self) Love Story” affronta quello che è considerato uno dei tabù della nostra società, la masturbazione. Il regista parte dalle leggende metropolitane e gli stereotipi più comuni sul tema, dal “fa diventare ciechi” al “rende impotenti”, per approfondire l’argomento da numerosi e diversi punti di vista, da quello religioso a quello sociale. Gli interventi presenti nel documentario saranno numerosi e di diversa levatura: già dal trailer, si può vedere come a parlare siano sessuologi ma anche ma anche sacerdoti, rabbini o porno star. Dal video trailer del documentario, non solo passano davanti agli occhi immagini di sex toys e di celebri film, ma giunge anche alle orecchie una frase che non può che far scoppiare in una risata “Se Dio non avesse voluto che ci masturbassimo, ci avrebbe fatto le braccia più corte”.
