L'allegro mondo di Stanlio e Ollio

Vengono presentati spezzoni vari degli attori comici più famosi durante i primi anni del 1920. Questi sono Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Charley Chase e Max Davidson. Sebbene gli ultimi due avessero in quel tempo perfezionato e creato un loro personaggio (Chase quello del dandy pasticcione e Davidson il vecchio scorbutico e combinaguai) Laurel e Hardy recitavano ancora in ruoli separati sebbene comici. Mentre Ollie interpretava un grassone impacciato e gaglioffo amante delle belle donne ma che riusciva infine a creare solo distruzioni, buffe cadute e liti tra personaggi, Stan era l'uomo dalla faccia allegra che cercava di vendere medicinali oppure cacciarsi ugualmente in situazioni al di sopra della sua intelligenza (come in Kill or Cure) che terminavano in rocambolesche fughe o in scambi di persona.

Herman Finkers: EHBO Is Mijn Lust En Mijn Leven

EHBO, is mij lust en mijn leven' Een stoplicht springt op rood, een ander weer op groen: in Almelo is altijd wat te doen'. een van de meest bekende uitspraken van Herman Finkers. Herman Finkers houdt zich sinds 1979 bezig met het bedenken en uitvoeren van theaterprogramma's. Zijn programma's laten zich moeilijk omschrijven. Het best werd hij waarschijnlijk omschreven in het Utrechts Nieuwsblad: 'meester van de dubbele clou"geestige overdaad die niet schaadt', 'subliem slap gelul' EHBO is mijn lust en mijn leven is het vierde programma van Herman Finkers, opgenomen in de Leidse Schouwburg.

Christopher Crumpet has an imaginary elephant for a playmate. Christopher's father begins to see the elephant. Mr. Crumpet reveals this to his co-worker, Mr. Bilgewater, who quickly plays office politics by telling their boss that Mr. Crumpet is crazy. The boss has recently awarded Crumpet a junior partnership, which Bilgewater thought he had deserved. The boss visits the Crumpet home, and finds that Crumper does indeed see his son's imaginary playmate. But instead of taking the junior partnership away from Crumpet, he makes him a full partner. The boss himself has an imaginary hyena.
