Sveaborg

The film is based on history of the Russian Military garrison in Sveaborg (Suomenlinna, near Helsinki) in Finland, which was an autonomous part of Russian Empire. In 1906 Russia had about 12 thousand troops stationed in Sveaborg fortress. The riots were provoked by the Socialist - Revolutionaries who spread influence on the minds of Sveaborg garrison. First acts of un-subordination broke on July 17, 1906, when revolutionary sailors were supported by mine-men. Minemen were arrested and disarmed by the infantry regiment. Gunners decided to release their comrades. The following fight ignited a bloody revolt, that was headed by lieutenants A. Yemelyanov and Y. Kohansky, members of the Lenin's Bolshevik party. A general strike began in Helsinki on the next day. The revolt lasted three days and was crushed by the Baltic Fleet naval bombardment. Over 40 men were executed, hundreds were sentenced to prison.

The Jungle Fight

The Jungle Fight is an action-packed love story about courage, trust, and the triumph of good over evil. David, a handsome football player, and Victoria, a talented singer, are a couple living in the United Kingdom. One day, they decide to go for a long walk in a serene jungle to enjoy nature. Presto DiGiotagione è un prestigiatore il cui piatto forte nei suoi spettacoli è quello del coniglio che esce dal cilindro. Il cilindro che usa è magico davvero, in quanto è un portale comunicante con un altro cappello, dal quale si estrae il suddetto coniglio, di nome Alec Azam. Una sera però Presto dimentica di dare ad Alec la sua carota quotidiana. Questo si vendicherà rovinandogli lo spettacolo e sottoponendolo a un susseguirsi di botte e colpi, come nella tradizione dei cartoon anni '40.

Stu - Anche un alieno può sbagliare

In una casa isolata di campagna, un ragazzo dorme tranquillo nella sua stanza. Ad un tratto un violento raggio verde lo avvolge ed inizia a librarlo in aria, finché - nel tentativo di volare via - non finisce sbattendo sul muro, il tutto nel pieno del sonno. L'inquadratura passa all'astronave, dove si trovano Stu, un giovane alieno verde impegnato in un'enorme consolle piena di levette, e Mr. B, un grande alieno gelatinoso col compito di esaminarlo. Il giovane extraterrestre prova tutti i modi per tirarlo fuori e catturarlo, innervosendosi e chiedendo anche aiuto, invano, finché - dopo numerosi tentavi - riesce a portarlo sull'astronave. Mentre però sta terminando la prova, si distrae e non finisce di chiudere la navicella, facendo così precipitare l'umano. L'esaminatore si affretta a riattivare il raggio e a sistemare la confusione creata da Stu.

Il tuo amico topo

Il tuo amico topo si inserisce nella tradizione dei cortometraggi educativi della Disney degli anni '50, e tratta del ruolo del ratto nella storia e nella società umana, ovviamente con il tono ironico proprio dei cartoon. Dopo aver analizzato gli scontri fra uomini e ratti, i due roditori protagonisti Remy e Emile auspicano infine un periodo di amicizia. A questa utopia dedicano una canzone, Plan B (Piano B in italiano), scritta appositamente per il cortometraggio da James G. Dashe (musica e testo) e Jim Capobianco (testo).

Non molto tempo fa, c'era una pecora che orgogliosamente dava sfoggio della sua lussureggiante lana mentre ballava, finché un giorno ebbe la sua prima tosatura che, aimè , la lasciò umiliata. Immersa nella sua disperazione, un passante la incontrò e trovandola sconsolata suggerì alla pecora tosata che anche senza manto di lana poteva tranquillamente ballare e mantenere il suo senso di autostima.

Seppure raccontata molto velocemente e a grandi linee la storia è interessante e originale ma di certo un altro episodio non sarebbe sgradito per approfondire la questione. La grafica è ottima, ben curata e dettagliata, con qualche elemento kawaii.Vista l'estrema sinteticità di quest'anime, può essere definito come una piccola pietra preziosa.By Animeclick.it
