At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Ladies & Gentlemen, the Rolling Stones

A concert film taken from two Rolling Stones concerts during their 1972 North American tour. In 1972, the Stones bring their Exile on Main Street tour to Texas: 15 songs, with five from the "Exile" album. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman on a small stage with three other musicians. Until the lights come up near the end, we see the Stones against a black background. The camera stays mostly on Jagger, with a few shots of Taylor. Richards is on screen for his duets and for some guitar work on the final two songs. It's music from start to finish: hard rock ("All Down the Line"), the blues ("Love in Vain" and "Midnight Rambler"), a tribute to Chuck Berry ("Bye Bye Johnny"), and no "Satisfaction."

Wall Street - Il denaro non dorme mai

Nel 2001 Gordon Gekko esce dal carcere dopo aver scontato la pena per le frodi attuate a Wall Street, ma nessuno lo attende al di là del cancello. Sette anni più tardi Gekko ha pubblicato le sue memorie e considerazioni sulla finanza mondiale. Intanto sua figlia ha una relazione con il giovane Jake Moore, il quale opera in Borsa sotto l'ala dell'anziano Louis Zabel e crede nella possibilità di investire in un progetto finalizzato alla creazione di energia pulita. Quando però Zabel viene messo in gravi difficoltà dalla diffusione di voci finalizzate alla sua eliminazione dal mercato, Jake si avvicina a Gekko, il quale vorrebbe poter tornare ad avere un dialogo con sua figlia.
