The Reverend

Winner of the DOC NYC Audience Award, Director Nick Canfield’s first film follows gospel-rock icon and activist Reverend Vince Anderson. After entering seminary, Vince dropped out to follow his second calling - music. With his band The Love Choir, he has played a now-legendary weekly show for over twenty years. Reconnecting with his faith and using his intense soulful music, he began to preach a type of spirituality that is open to all, meets people where they are, and moves everyone that sees him play. Reverend Vince is also deeply involved in social justice, working with other faith leaders around the country to build inclusive communities. Maciste nella gabbia dei leoni

Questa volta Maciste viene mandato in Africa con l'inganno da un gruppo di tirapiedi comandati da un certo Strasser. L'incarico dell'eroe è di trovare e catturare un gruppo di leoni per il Circo Pommer e nell'impresa s'innamora anche della bella Seida. Quando ritorna scopre che Strasser ha ordito un complotto per impadronirsi del circo.

Il pulcino smarrito

Mentre una gallina sta covando le sue uova, una di esse rotola fuori dal nido arrivando fino a un bosco vicino. Lì viene trovata da due scoiattoli che, credendo si tratti di un'enorme noce, gettano via quelle che avevano raccolto e la portano a casa nonostante lo scetticismo e gli avvertimenti del nonno e degli altri scoiattoli. Poco dopo l'uovo si schiude e ne esce il pulcino Eggbert, con cui i due fanno subito amicizia. Nel frattempo la gallina, alla schiusa delle uova, si accorge dell'assenza di Eggbert e, ritrovatolo a casa degli scoiattoli, lo riporta indietro. Più tardi, Eggbert convince sua madre ad affrontare una tempesta di neve per salvare gli scoiattoli che erano alla ricerca di cibo. Li trova quasi congelati e li porta quindi nella stia, invitandoli a vivere con lei e la sua covata per sempre.

The Gift That Gives follows the story of Callum Mori (Takaya Honda), the author of a book entitled, The Gift That Gives. Callum, however, falls for her best friend, Linda (HaiHa Le). Linda owns the bookshop where Callum launches his book but luckily for Kate, fate brings her and Callum’s brother, Austin (Damien Sato) together, as they discover hidden love letters, signed by aliases. Jointly, they all try to find out who penned them.
