L'uomo di Hong Kong

Arturo, giovane infelice per la sua vita ricca e troppo lineare, decide di togliersi la vita. Per fare ciò, durante un viaggio in nave verso Hong Kong, decide di fare testamento, lasciando metà delle sue sostanze al signor Goh, suo unico amico, al quale chiederà in seguito di farsi uccidere. Mr. Goh, figura ambigua, tra il saggio e l'eremita, accetterà invano di eseguire il suo compito, ma chiederà ad Arturo di vivere per altri trenta giorni, tra il lusso sfrenato, poiché esaurito il limite di tempo, egli lo ucciderà. Arturo, contento, comincia a girare per la città e fa la conoscenza di una splendida donna di nome Alexandrina. Durante una rocambolesca fuga contro dei sicari che tentano di ucciderlo, lui, la ragazza e il fedele maggiordomo Leone, arriveranno a girare l'India, l'Himalaya e vari isolotti orientali, cercando di salvarsi la vita. Si scoprirà in seguito che i sicari erano degli agenti della compagnia assicurativa di Arturo, incaricati di proteggerlo.
