Il poliziotto Edward Gallagher, insieme alla moglie Ellen, prendono sotto la loro protezione un ragazzo, Jerry Florea, il quale è rimasto ferito a causa di una fucilata durante una rapina e ha trascorso ingiustamente tre anni di riformatorio a causa di una truffa commessa però da un suo compagno di scuola. Edward deve partire per la guerra e, quando rientra, scopre che Jerry è diventato un boss della malavita; facendo credere di avere buone intenzioni e di ritornare sulla retta via, accetta di lavorare come gestore di una stazione di servizio.

Marty Feldman: Six Degrees of Separation

A documentary about the legendary and influential comedian, actor and writer, who went out from the BBC to conquer Hollywood, but sadly the system quickly withdrew its support when they couldn't contain his talents. This portrait is spiked with many comments from people who knew Feldman privately or had dealt with him professionally. His early death sadly rendered him all but forgotten by the public. The compilation consists of interviews, some film clips and photos as well as various audio clips from him.

Sotto il titolo originale (“una zeta e due zeri”, crittogramma dai molti significati) c'è una storia con Alba che perde una gamba e un figlio in uno scontro in auto con un cigno, incidente in cui muoiono le mogli di due gemelli (già siamesi) etologi, Oswald e Osmund Deuce (i due O, zeri, del titolo inglese) che lavorano nello zoo di Rotterdam. I due diventano prima amanti di Alba, poi “padre” dei suoi nascituri e, infine, suicidi dopo che la donna, amputata anche all'altra gamba, trova l'anima gemella nel signor Arcobaleno, monco in carrozzella. Cerebrale sino all'esasperazione e perverso, è basato sul rapporto uomo-animale, sul corpo dei personaggi (sempre a figura intera senza piani ravvicinati) e sulla pittura (Vermeer soprattutto e i fiamminghi del '400 come Robert Campin e Jan Van Eyck). Là incontra l'uomo che a causa di una ferita alla gola non può parlare, ma che è dispostissimo ad ascoltarla e a mano a mano la situazione si stratifica, fino a che il marito di lei si accorge dell'accaduto e tenta un recupero.
