A Mob of Women

Ali Munir Al-Jahsh is a wealthy young man who picks up women who visit his father's psychiatric clinic. They both have a bet, where Ali must help a patient recover from his complex with women by deceiving three girls the patient knows and they rejected him, namely Siham, Shukriya and Samiha.

Lynch made the animation film Pożar (Fire) in 2015 after the Polish-American composer Marek Zebrowski created a musical composition as a tribute to him. The film was included in the 2018 retrospective "Someone Is In My House".

Death Inhabits at Night

Greasy hair; grooved and unshaven face; emanating alcohol fumes. Raúl just doesn't care anymore. In the opening scene of Death Inhabits at Night, the unemployed writer pours himself another glass of cheap wine as an upstairs neighbour leaps to his death. His girlfriend is clearly more upset by the incident. A little later, she finds a letter by the door reminding them to pay the rent or be evicted. Raúl shrugs and suggests going back to bed. First performed in 1893, Oscar Wilde’s marriage of glittering wit and Ibsenite drama satirised the socially conservative world of the Victorian upper-class, creating a vivid new theatrical voice which still resonates today.

Feet First

An ambitious shoe salesman, Harold, unknowingly meets the boss' daughter and tells her he is a leather tycoon. The rest of the film he spends hiding his true circumstances, in the store and later on a ship. Trying to deliver a letter, he later finds himself dangling high above the street on a building's scaffolding.
