At the end of September 1941, Soviet artillery troops in besieged Leningrad realize that pretty soon they will fire their last shot, and after that the defense of the city will be doomed. Between cigarettes, music and moments of fleeting happiness, they confront their emotional demons in a chaotic night. The story reveals the ups and downs of this bond, between intense connections and emotional exhaustion, showing the struggle to preserve a passionate connection as it falls apart.

Ragat

Ragat (Blood) is a powerful Nepali film that highlights caste discrimination and social injustice. The story follows Krishna, a young man from a lower-caste family, who bravely fights against the oppression of the rich and upper-caste elites. Hemant Kaji, a wealthy and influential man, strongly believes in caste superiority and looks down on the poor. Amidst this division, Laxmi, a girl from a rich family, falls in love with Gopal, a lower-caste boy. Defying societal norms and family pressure, they marry against their parents' wishes, challenging the rigid caste system. Their love becomes a symbol of change, but their struggle is met with resistance. In the end, Radha, Laxmi's caring aunt, tragically loses her life, leaving behind a message that all human blood is the same-hot and red. Directed with a strong social message, Ragat questions why caste discrimination still exists in Nepali culture and calls for equality and justice.

Il diario di Jerry

Tom vuole uccidere Jerry con una serie di trappole, ma un programma radiofonico basato sull'affabilità lo costringe ad essere gentile con lui per almeno una settimana. Il gatto decide così di mostrare al topo la sua cordialità portando per lui un mazzo di fiori, una torta di fragole ed una scatola di pasticcini. Jerry però non è in casa e Tom inizia ad attendere l'arrivo del topo leggendo in segreto il suo diario. Inizialmente aveva letto un ricordo tratto da Lo sport più distensivo del mondo, ma il suo divertimento cessò quando lesse di quella volta che la pallina da golf gli ruppe i denti. Tom decide di calmare la pazienza leggendo un altro ricordo tratto stavolta da Jerry nei guai. Qui però legge che Jerry gli aveva dato un pugno sugli occhi e, buttato via il mazzo di fiori, inizia a voltare gli occhi verso quella volta in cui Jerry, in Solid Serenade, gli fece chiudere il collo nella finestra della cucina facendolo urlare...
