The Rolling Stones embarked on the Licks World Tour in 2002 and 2003 to celebrate their 40th anniversary, featuring the band performing in arenas and stadiums in addition to the occasional theatre. In November 2002, the Stones arrived in Los Angeles to perform at a packed Wiltern Theatre, treating fans to a set heavy on rarities which feel right at home in such an intimate setting. While some of the hits are performed, this night at the Wiltern is for the rarely played classics, including Stray Cat Blues, No Expectations and a cover of Everybody Needs Somebody to Love featuring a guest spot by the legendary Solomon Burke.

The film opens with the overthrow of the Czar during the 1917 Russian revolution. Tre operai, lavorando agli scavi in un cantiere, disseppelliscono i resti di un antichissimo cimitero indiano. I tre lavoratori sono assolutamente ignari di aver appena liberato uno spirito maligno intrappolato lì sotto da tempo. Così da una buca nel terreno, scavata dagli stessi, fuoriesce una creatura composta di ossa che li polverizza. Questa entità diventa sempre più forte e potente mietendo vittime e assorbendo le loro ossa. Lo sceriffo, coadiuvato da sua figlia, e il capo della locale comunità indiana tenteranno in tutti i modi di fronteggiare questa situazione, in contrasto con il proprietario del cantiere edile che non intende bloccare i lavori per interessi economici.

Woodstock è un documentario americano che racconta l'omonimo Festival tenutosi a Bethel nell'agosto del 1969. Il film fu diretto da Michael Wadleigh e fu montato da (tra gli altri) Martin Scorsese e Thelma Schoonmaker. Ricevette l'Oscar come miglior documentario e fu nominato per il miglior sonoro. Nel 1996, Woodstock fu scelto per essere conservato nella National Film Registry della Biblioteca del Congresso poiché esso è "culturalmente, storicamente o esteticamente significativo". Il 9 giugno 2009 è uscita una versione più lunga, sia in Blu-Ray che in DVD, con alcune scene non presenti nella versione precedente, incluse le versioni integrali delle esibizioni dei Creedence Clearwater Revival e altri.
