“Blues for Jimi” è uno splendido live che il compianto Mr. Moore ha registrato il 25 ottobre 2007, durante la sua esibizione al London Hippodrome, pubblicato postumo in cd e dvd nel settembre 2012. I musicisti che lo accompagnano sono David Bronze al basso e Darrin Mooney alla batteria. Nel trittico composto da “Red House” – “Stone free” ­ “Hey Joe” salgono però sul palco Billy Cox & Mitch Mitchell, rispettivamente bassista e batterista di Hendrix ai tempi degli Experience, per i quali il tempo sembra non essere passato. Bene… con questa premessa si capisce immediatamente che parliamo di un album di immenso spessore, dal grande significato storico, riguardo al quale le parole risultano superflue al punto che scrivere qualcosa è al contempo semplice e difficile. Perché questi musicisti sono riusciti in quello che ogni artista ed ogni uomo dovrebbe a mio parere cercar di fare: lasciare un segno indelebile nella storia. Jimi & Gary lo hanno fatto. The director of films for kids called Bonzurka together with her loyal assistants Drahuska and Honza are looking for the actors for a new movie "The Knee". Children for this movie should not be afraid and shy and they must have talent for acting. Thus the scouting is quite difficult. The most difficult is to find an actress for a main character who lost her hair after a serious illness and now has to spent the whole holiday in the countryside with a bald head resembling a knee. Although the makeup artist does his best an artificial baldness does not solve anything. From the selected little girls only the self-assertive Rosemary has the guts to let her long hair to be cut and shave off her head.

Dopo innumerevoli rinvii, è arrivato il DVD di Pulse, contenente la registrazione dello spettacolo già edito su doppio CD che i Pink Floyd (orfani di Roger Waters) tennero durante il loro ultimo tour, in promozione dell'album "The Division Bell" nel 1994 all'Earls Curt di Londra. Lo storico concerto era già uscito in VHS ma il supporto digitale, oltre ad apportare migliorie sonore, da la possibilità di vedere filmati inediti dei dietro le quinte. Il concerto è suddiviso in due parti: nella prima si trovano i grandi successi come “Learning To Fly”, “Another Brick In The Wall (part 2)” e “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” mentre la seconda è interamente dedicata a “Dark Side Of The Moon”.
