A former member of a band of criminals known as the 'Eight-Hundred Dragons' is living in fear in Manchuria as the clan does not allow people to leave alive. Arf

Arf è un bambino, ma non sa parlare, abbaia. Però ha un ottimo fiuto e un carattere adorabile. Nato in un paese in guerra, Arf è stato salvato da Bianca, una cagna che lo ha cresciuto nel branco di randagi che vive su una collina ai margini della città. Ma la guerra giunge anche in quel luogo magico, il branco viene disperso in una retata e Arf viene portato in un campo di prigionia insieme ad altri bambini. Ma Arf non conosce la cattiveria degli esseri umani e anche in quel luogo triste, trova amici e continua a sorridere. La serenità del bambino che sa soltanto abbaiare, fa infuriare però il nevrastenico comandante del campo, che condanna Arf ad essere sbranato dai dobermann guardiani del campo. L’ufficiale non immagina che i cani decidano invece di difendere il cucciolo e scatenino un ammutinamento proprio nel giorno in cui il Dittatore viene in visita per tenere un discorso alla nazione.

"Twinkletoes" Minasi wants to be a great dancer like her deceased mother. Twink meets Chuck Lightfoot, a noted prizefighter, who falls in love with her at first sight. She tries to avoid falling in love with Chuck, whose wife, Cissie, is a drunken harridan and more than a little bit spiteful. Meanwhile, Twink has secured a job in a singing-dancing act in a Limehouse theater, under the auspices of Roseleaf, who has more than just a protective interest in the girl. The jealous Cissie discovers that Twink's sign-painting father also has a night job as a burglar, and she turns him into the police. While a big success dancing on the stage, the arrest of her father has left her somewhat down in the dumps, and she decides to toss herself into the Thames. Possibly, the now-free Chuck, since Cissie has been killed in an accident, might come along and rescue her.
