Caccia tragica

Nell'immediato dopoguerra un camion sul quale viaggiano Michele e Giovanna, novelli sposi, e il ragioniere incaricato di portare in sede quattro milioni, viene assalito da due banditi. I malviventi (Alberto un disoccupato e Daniela la sua amante) uccidono l'autista e il ragioniere, si impossessano del denaro e prendono in ostaggio Giovanna. Comincia così una caccia all'uomo che vede coinvolti i contadini e i carabinieri.

Cinderella

Sergei Prokofiev's setting of the fairy tale "Cinderella" premiered at Moscow's Bolshoi Theater in 1945. Michiko lost her dad in a car accident when she was 10 years old. After the car accident, Michiko has lived with her mother Kyoko. Michiko, now in her 2nd year of high school, gets a cell phone from her mother as a birthday present. Michiko is so excited to have her very first cell phone. Soon afterwards, she is forced into joining social networking site "AvaQ" by classmate, and queen of the classroom, Taeko.

A Chipmunk Celebration

Thanksgiving Day is on the way. Alvin, Simon, and Theodore finish making invitations to send to their relatives and then leave to audition for the town play "Pilgrims Adventures in a New Land". Alvin trys for the role of the Lead, while Simon trys for Lighting and Sound director, and Theodore Costume Designer. However, the Director of the play feels that to properly celebrate the pilgrims story of adventure, the boys should branch out and attempt new positions. As a result, she casts Simon as the Lead, Theodore as Lighting and Sound Director, and Alvin as the Costume Designer to expand their talents.

Momo and the Seven Papagenos

Twenty-five-year-old Momo has friends. Her parents live some distance away, but they sometimes get together to dine out. She dates an acceptable guy, and they share drinks at home. She apologizes to unreasonable clients over the phone at work and hones her ability to keep things civil with coworkers at drinks after work. This perfectly ordinary life means Momo doesn't immediately notice a nagging feeling: "I want to die." For her, it's a phrase she must never say aloud. One summer, unable to bear the thought of the coming Monday, Momo takes a day off from work. She begins to visit other people who struggle with thoughts of suicide, but have discovered alternatives and choose to live instead. She connects with these "Papagenos" through social media. Over the course of her difficult journey, Momo herself begins to discover other choices beyond death.

Tre giovani coinquiline rientrano a casa nell'arco di pochi minuti, ognuna con le sue questioni. Sara inizia a dubitare della fedeltà del suo fidanzato, Elisa al cellulare, litiga con la madre e il fratello le impedisce il dialogo, e Irene rientrando a casa spera solo di non farsi vedere dalle altre due per poter nascondere in camera sua un pandoro appena regalatole. In sala da pranzo, la chiusura e il silenzio delle ragazze le portano a parlare di argomenti scontati e banali. Nel finale le vediamo ognuna in camera propria e una canzone fa da sottofondo al finale malinconico.

These tragedies seem to occur more frequently, with politicians seemingly inactive. This changed on Valentine’s Day 2018, when a shooting at MSD High School in Parkland, Florida, killed 14 students and three faculty members. In response, young people organised the largest gun violence protests since the Vietnam War, demanding stricter gun laws and a ban on AR-15 rifles. Director Sebastian Bellwinkel documented this movement. While mass shootings are a significant issue, they account for only 1% of the 30,000 gun-related deaths annually. Some states have altered gun laws due to the protests, but the conservative Trump administration’s stance on making firearms harder to access remains unclear.
