Tonnemann lives in one of the wooden sheds at the far end of Islands Brygge, close to Copenhagen's landfill site. Poliziotti autentici prendono Gianni e Pinotto per gli assassini e li costringono a fuggire. Intanto viene estratta una lotteria radiofonica e ne risulta vincitore Pinotto. Egli deve però presentarsi nell'auditorio entro mezz'ora, perché diversamente il premio è perduto. I due, incuranti dei poliziotti, si presentano durante la trasmissione e col loro intervento permettono di scoprire gli assassini. Così, oltre al premio, avranno la fama cui aspiravano, di uomini del mistero.

Al Festival di Berlino 2002 fu presentata una edizione restaurata (Director's Cut) e allungata di oltre 20´.
