Flight

In un mattino d’autunno il South Jet 227 parte da Orlando, al comando di Whip Whitaker, per un volo di routine. L’aereo però s’imbatte presto in una turbolenza ed entra in una forte tempesta, poi una serie d’inesplicabili guasti lo fanno precipitare a spirale verso il basso. Whip decide che l’unica possibilità che ha di salvare il volo è compiere una difficile manovra. In una manciata di minuti, individua uno spazio di terra adiacente una chiesa dove tentare l’atterraggio. L’impatto è sconvolgente, ma Whip, con un colpo incredibile e ingegnoso, riesce ad atterrare in modo abbastanza sicuro da salvare tutte meno sei delle 102 anime a bordo. Per il suo miracoloso atterraggio, i media acclamano Whip come un eroe.
