L'Incidente racconta la storia di Marcella (Giulia Mazzarino) una donna a cui si sgretola la vita dopo la separazione dal marito, la perdita del lavoro e la perdita del rapporto con sua figlia a seguito di un grave incidente d’auto. Decide, quindi, di acquistare un carro attrezzi con la speranza di rimettere a posto ogni pezzo del puzzle della sua vita. Dotata di tenacia e di gentilezza, la donna cerca di mettere in discussione il suo carattere e i suoi principi finché, ferma ad un semaforo, si ritrova tra le mani una rischiosa opportunità che però potrebbe essere finalmente risolutiva.
